On the Mediterranean coast of Kemer, where the sea meets the rugged outline of the Taurus Mountains, lies Lims Bona Dea Beach — a hotel shaped by family, land and time.
This is not a place created to a template; it has grown gradually, with respect for nature, traditions and people. Every detail here reflects care, memory and genuine hospitality.
The story of the hotel began nearly half a century ago, when this land was an orange grove owned by a local family. More than fifty years ago, when Kemer had not yet become a fashionable Mediterranean resort, this small fishing village was home to just four families — one of them the family who would later found Bona Dea.
As the first European tourists began to arrive in the region, the family established a campsite and a beachfront restaurant called Panorama (yes, the very same name now given to the hotel’s beach bar). For many years, it became a popular and much-loved place for both visitors and locals.
Over time, tourism in the region grew, and the town gradually developed with new hotels. In 2004, the construction of Bona Dea began, lasting for two winter seasons (as building works are not permitted during the summer in a resort town). On 1 June 2006, Bona Dea welcomed its very first guests.

At the heart of the former orchard, two olive trees have been preserved, planted in 1923 — the year the Republic of Türkiye was founded. Today, these trees are over a century old and continue to grow here as a living reminder of roots, continuity and respect for the land.
The name of the hotel was chosen not for its sound, but for its meaning. Bona Dea is the name of the ancient Roman goddess of goodness, purity and fertility. LIMS is an acronym formed from the names of Gülşüm Hanım’s children — Lütfiye, İsmail, Mustafa and Sıddıka — who became the founders of the hotel.

In 2023, the hotel underwent a complete renovation of its rooms. The interiors became more contemporary, while preserving what matters most — the warmth, simplicity and comfort that guests have loved about Bona Dea from the very beginning.

In 2025, Lims Bona Dea Beach became part of the Sustainable Tourism Programme supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Türkiye.

During the winter season of 2025–2026, we took another important step in the hotel’s development, placing special emphasis on guest safety. An additional fire escape was installed, guest room doors were replaced with modern fire-resistant ones, and each room was equipped with a sprinkler fire suppression system.
For us, this is not a formality, but a natural continuation of the principles of responsibility and care that have guided the hotel from the very beginning.

In 2026, the hotel celebrates its 20th anniversary. Twenty years is made up of thousands of stories, meetings and returns. More than 60% of our guests are returning visitors, and among them are those who have been coming to us since the very beginning. Today, their children return with families of their own.
Many couples have celebrated their weddings here, spent their honeymoons and begun their families. Here, too, countless school graduates, full of hope, have thrown their caps into the air, marking the start of a new chapter in their lives.
Companies have entrusted us with organising their trainings and corporate events, relying on our service and attention to detail. Bloggers and athletes have also stayed with us, including those conquering the summit of Mount Tahtalı during the annual Sea to Sky race.
